Surprise Party in Room 1

Moon and Miniver have been working hard since Mia had taken Draco out on their date.

Decorations (in the colours Miniver had suggested instead of Moon's rainbow idea) are hung in the room. Crepe paper braids of orange, greyish blue, and green streak the ceiling. Moon's put up little paper decorations of cakes, balloons, and cartoonish animals dancing. Along with the cardboard balloons, there are huge groups of orange, grey-blue, and green helium balloons scattered all over.

On a table, with a colourful tablecloth depicting very happy cats and dogs partying, is the cake Skill had artfully created for Draco. It's wide sheet cake; the white icing is the basis for the artistically piped images of Martin and Dart flying over a huge forest full of winding paths. The forest ended where the words 'Happy Birthday, Draco!' were written in flowing script. It was the sort of cake a tarot card would make.

Moon giggles as she sets a stack of gifts (all from her family for the birthday boy) on the table beside the cake. She turns to Miniver and grins.

"I hope he's surprised," she says proudly.

It was definitely bright and cheerful and there's glitter everywhere, including on Miniver and Moon.

Draco glanced over at her, and there was longing there.

"Been tempted with her too."

"I have never yet been injured. At least, not by anything more serious than a bird bite. For good reason, really. I don't like pain. Except for you. You're all the pain I can handle." He grins.

Miniver gives an exaggerated pout.

"Which of us is better, then?"

"Well, you at least take me up on such offers. She's not ready yet."

Still not answering that whole 'who's better' question. It was a trap, and you're screwed no matter what you say.

"That's because I give plenty of pleasure with the pain," Draco grinned, and leaned in to nip and lick at Miniver's earlobe to demonstrate.

The dance is nearly forgotten now, just swaying with the music as he purrs.

"Oh, and how you do..."

"Hmph." Miniver kisses Draco again. Probably just as well he doesn't answer. "Well... maybe we'll trade tips sometime, she and I."

They were dancing? He seemed to have forgotten for the moment, warm breath against Miniver's neck. Suckling kisses with tantalizing licks and brief sharp teeth. Seemed to be demonstrating how he combined the two at the moment.

Deep kiss back, hint of contained hunger in how his lips and tongue moved.

Draco pulled away enough to speak again.

"Trading tips? Should I be worried?"

He purrs and nuzzles and kisses back, forgetting anybody might be watching.

Or perhaps... a small part of him was hoping Mia was.

Miniver giggles. "I don't know. It's not a bad idea, though, you have to admit..."

Draco seemed unsure, and wondering what they were going to say behind his back.

Draco was getting lost in the moment, briefly closing his eyes.

He then remembered where he was again. He glanced up, almost responding to Miniver's unspoken thought. No, Mia was still dancing, but the sight of her still caused him to stop for a moment.

Miniver follows Draco's glance and nods.

"You should go dance with her," he says softly, stepping back a little.

Poke tickle. "When you can't tell who's doing what to you unless you look, it's a good idea."

Draco squirmed some more, and trying to deflect Miniver's hands away.

"Ah! All right, in that case, might be intriguing." Even though there was some obvious differences that would give things away quickly.

Draco glanced back at him. He smiled. Another kiss, briefer this time.

Draco can just WONDER what he's thinking.

Miniver squeaks! He would counter-attack, but...

He grins. "Later. I will get you back for that. Later."

"After everybody leaves." He smiles and slips his thumbs over Draco's belt. "Then."

Draco looked back at him as his hips leaned toward Miniver at that. Grinning with interest.

Miniver grins back, and gives Draco a nip on the throat before darting away into the party again.

Draco has other people to socialize with, and a while to be tormented yet before Miniver will show him anything more.
