Teja likes bonfires. He remembers the bonfire at Atton's birthday, nigh on a year ago, when he first realised, vaguely still, that he felt something about Charlie that was more than the promise he had given Demeter.
And two moons! They make it clear that he is, truly, no longer on Earth. What a lovely pace.
