Indy's Suite

She knocks before entering, but it's quiet.
Well, it's late, it should be quiet.
Moon pads into the suite on her bare feet (she briefly wonders if she's ever owned shoes) and makes her way to Indy's room. The wolves behind her, she stops just over the threshold and turns to them.
"No. You two are staying in the living room. And don't go terrifying the other residents here, all right? Just... be good. Like... normal puppies or something."
Mons sits and tilts her head. Why can we not sleep at the foot of the bed as we did last time?
Because she and Indy intend to make puppies. Mare proudly states this, nuzzling Mons' muzzle.
Moon feels herself flush painfully. "We are not making puppies, Mare. You two are enough for me, thank you, and... just... no!" Gods of the multiverse, she felt so silly. "Go sleep by the sofa and behave."
Mons and Mare trot off, their voices distant to her as they talk between themselves, and she sighs and closes the door to Indy's room.
Puppies?
No.
No puppies, no kitties, no chicks, no calves, no babies.
Moon sheds her clothes, folding them neatly as she does, and chooses to conjure a creamy white slip to wear. She wasn't shy or modest by any stretch of the imagination, but she didn't want to just sit nude in Indy's bed.
That just seems tasteless to her.
She pulls down the sheet and blanket on one side and crawls in and looks around the room as she hadn't the last two times she'd been in it. It was an Indy room, she decides. Very much like him and very much like the rough and laughy drink he'd given her.
Slowly, she smiles, nestling down into the bed where she could smell him so easily.
Oh, she very much likes him, she decides as she waits for his bartending shift to end.

Date: 2007-04-01 03:37 am (UTC)You have come to see the Lady? he asks the man sleepily.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-01 03:43 am (UTC)"Well, yeah... since she's in my bed."
He nods at their location.
"She kicked you out?"
no subject
Date: 2007-04-01 03:44 am (UTC)You will make puppies and she doesn't want us watching.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-01 03:47 am (UTC)"She told you that? Or are you just assuming?"
no subject
Date: 2007-04-01 03:48 am (UTC)However, he knew his Mistress had been terribly embarrassed, so he assumes she was just trying to cover up the puppy making.
He was a very wise wolf, after all.

Date: 2007-04-01 03:53 am (UTC)"But you know better."
"Y'think you've got the measure of us, don't you?"
no subject
Date: 2007-04-01 03:56 am (UTC)But Mare approves of Moon taking this one as a mate -- he treated Moon like a person and not a bandage for old wounds.
Do you not want puppies with the Lady? If not, you should tell her so she can find a new mate.

Date: 2007-04-01 04:06 am (UTC)"Don't get me wrong, I'm not ruling out mating. But I don't think either of us are especially eager to... make puppies. Humans mate for other reasons too, y'know?"
He rests his hand on the door handle, then sends a smirk back to Mare.
"Besides, you ever think that maybe she's just tired of your snoring, Big Guy?"

Date: 2007-04-01 04:33 am (UTC)It's cooler in here. A light breeze drifts in through open window, billowing the closed curtains slightly, and the ceiling fan beats a monotonous rhythm above. It's dimmer too, the only light being provided by a solitary lamp on the left bedside table.
The door snicks shut, and peace descends again. Somehow Indy doubts that she's asleep yet, but he announces his presence in a low, hushed tone anyway.
"Hi honey, I'm home."
no subject
Date: 2007-04-01 04:39 am (UTC)Green eyes follow him as she sits up, the blanket pooling in her lap.
She smiles warmly at him, cheeks just mildly pink.
"It's very pleasant in here. Quiet, but the good kind of quiet. Peaceful." Moon looks around. "It's... you." Then she turns her eyes to him again, the moment of compliment over and the playful tone returns. "How was work, dear?"
no subject
Date: 2007-04-01 04:52 am (UTC)"Not too bad."
"Sorry I'm a bit later than I said. Had some bratty under-aged kid try and get beer from me, then make fun of my name. I had to set him straight on both fronts."
He rolls his eyes long sufferingly and starts to unbutton his shirt.
"The things I have to put up with."

Date: 2007-04-04 07:25 pm (UTC)A fall through the rushing winds of euphoria, into the welcoming softness of another post-coital glow.
Indy lies on his back in the half-darkness, wide-eyes staring upwards. His sweat-sheened chest heaves, under another, as he tries to catch his breath.

Date: 2007-04-04 10:11 pm (UTC)Well, she might very well be truly, faintly glowing literally, like a moonbeam. She laughs as she pants, grinning down at him.
"Have we reached our limit?" she asks with a wide, pleased -- and quite sleepy -- grin.
It seems Moon has discovered the absolute enjoyment of intimacy with someone.
And she's not eager to let it go.

Date: 2007-04-04 10:26 pm (UTC)With considerable effort, he then manages to regroup his mental faculties and offer something decipherable.
"Dunno about ours, as a unit, but we passed mine quite some time ago."
He doesn't look unhappy about it though. Not in the slightest.

Date: 2007-04-04 10:34 pm (UTC)As she lays there, Moon replays the evening and its activities through her mind and finds herself grinning again. Never... never... had she thought anything could be like that. What had happened to just being on her back while her partner took their pleasure with her? Indy certainly hadn't done that.
No, there had been that quiet, sure knowledge that this was meant to be a joint pleasure. That there would be no taking and leaving.
Moon wonders if she could ever settle for anything else now.
She chuckles roughly at the thought. "I think you've now ruined my work ethic," she teases him, pressing a kiss to his shoulder.

Date: 2007-04-04 10:52 pm (UTC)He's still wheezing a bit from the recent exertions, but composure is starting to return.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-04 10:56 pm (UTC)Very pleased.
Moon closes her eyes and wraps an arm around Indy's chest, wriggling her way into a nice, comfortable position with her head resting on his shoulder.
"We could've stopped three hours ago, you know," she murmurs, a hint of amusement in her tone.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-04 11:02 pm (UTC)He lifts his eyebrows and directs a lop-sided smile at her.
"Or, y'know, maybe I just couldn't help myself."
no subject
Date: 2007-04-04 11:07 pm (UTC)"I would never make fun of you," she giggles. "Perish the thought."
no subject
Date: 2007-04-04 11:15 pm (UTC)"I'd like that in writing."
Without disturbing her comfortable snuggle, he reaches out for the bedside table and starts fumbling around in the drawer for something.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-04 11:17 pm (UTC)"What are you doing? And I never put things in writing. Means I have to stick to it," she grins.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-04 11:40 pm (UTC)Her first query doesn't get an answer. A crease of frustration appears across his forehead as he continues to rummage. His search isn't yielding much so far.
"Dammit. Mike must've filched 'em again."
He sighs and slides the drawer shut again.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-04 11:44 pm (UTC)"Filched what?" She smiles. "And Mike goes through your drawers?"
