Tarot Beach Party
There are those of the tarot who know how to set up for a party.
Ruin had spent most of the afternoon building the bonfire. He has carefully made it much in the way he would have with the villagers of his mortal life when they would celebrate the harvests. Charity, Unity, and Skill had spent most of the day setting up food, both their sorts of foods and the sorts the sentients would be expecting.
Moon watched it all with rapt fascination, her eyes on the marshmallows Skill told her firmly she isn't allowed to touch yet. But they're white and fluffy looking and Moon is curious. Mons barks at her, warning Skill, and Moon is shooed off.
It's Fortune who puts out blankets, spread all over the beach area for everyone to use. Moon watches her family set up for a party, for guests... real guests who are coming simply to come instead of for answers. She watches Fortune set down a large stack of very warm looking towels, and she grins.
Swimming. Damian will like the swimming.
Her wolves run up and down the beach in excitement, and Moon knows it's time.
Disappearing back to Milliways, she sets it up so people can come and go as they need to, pleased with herself and her family.

"What are you celebrating?"

Well.
"You seem happier. And your brother is not in jail."

But her skin glows for those words.
She is not one for self pride. She can not hold it or knowing it. All that is born by her face and her skin is true, deep, rippling joy.
It lights her from the inside, a star, and once again Star.

"Then that counts as a reason."
no subject
"It is not for me. It just is. Like marshmallows."
(Moon might be a little fixated.)

"I haven't yet. Skill made them for the guests."

Carlisle will stay up here. You know. Far away from food.
"We haven't spoken in awhile. You missed the baseball game."

She knew it'd be easier in enclosed rooms for him.)
"I didn't." She looks bemused, and for a moment older again. "You had a very good time."

"Could have done without the transformation of small girls into birds, but everyone survived."

All creatures had their paths -- even that one.
Star slipped up to sit on the railing, without any care for how far down a fall was or for sitting on the actual railing itself. Her hands were propped on just the air, as her brow furrowed slightly.
"You had a problem with the girl?"

The flare of a firecracker, as she looked up smiling.
"She can take of her own way, Carlisle Cullen."
The deep seated fondness in her tone for both of them.

Looking out at the party, "Anything else I should be made aware of?"
no subject
Ruin and Tower definitely, but she isn't made for or of it.
She tilted her head, looking back from the moons to him. His reaction unmissed but also not necessarily in need of her. "About the girl?"

Boxes and ribbons and bows, there words all came form the same.

History and herself and not-herself.
"What did you meant to change the topic to?"

Finally, a resigned sort of laugh.
"I'm waiting for inspiration to strike. How about the party itself? For all of this to be constructed at a whim..."
